I loved this session and the little girls. They were seriously so adorable. I have two boys myself so I really felt like this was a great opportunity to get some girly girl time in and we sure enough did! :)
Grandma set up the session with me and I'm glad she did. I think 4 people came with the girls and they were all so sweet and easy to work with it really was a pleasant time. Alright baby girl pictures!!

Hey Everybody!


So I am starting this post out just a little bummed as I wanted to do a video blog to announce the winner but I got slammed with sickness! Usually I am super stubborn and will push through it doing whatever it is I have in my head (or at least that's what my husband says) but I have been working out and trying to make wise decisions this year. Not doing it all but doing the right thing.

99% of the people who entered are new to me mostly because I am new(er) to this area! I am from  the Tampa Bay area of Florida. So let me introduce myself: I am Amanda Eggert the only photographer with Eggert Photography right now. I say only because I have big plans for the future. I love doing what I do. Pretty simple huh? Currently I am a jack of all trades when it comes to photography and I do various photo shoots from Kids, Families, Nursing to Engagement and so on. I have realized that my absolute favorite type of shoot is Couples and Engagements. So I am hoping over the next few years to specialize in this area as well as weddings. So let me give 5 random facts about me so that we area more acquainted with each other!

1. I love Pizza
2.  I enjoy sitting out back with a fire going talking to people
3. I used to be a worship leader and that is actually what I initially went to school for
4. I really want to own a jeep wrangler
5. I hope to adopt someday

Something I have come to learn over this last year is I absolutely love and adore photographing Engagements and Couples. Sure, I love kids as I do chase mine around with the camera myself.. But there just is something so beautiful and magical about the fresh and inviting love between a couple who just got engaged. They are full of love and life! No one can break them apart. Nothing can separate them. You know.. Romeo and Juliet stuff minus the ending of course!

Here is an engagement session I did back in November. Matt and Stephanie were so sweet and I loved how they were planning it all. They are full of wisdom in making sure they are ready for the Big Day! So I'm going to share with you just some of the pictures we got that day. Enjoy!

So this is what I am doing right now. I have listened to so many different photographers and business folks about what I should do for my business.. for Eggert Photography. At the end of the day though I have realized that this is ME. This is a reflection of who I am and what I want to be. So I want to kick off this new year with a GIVEAWAY. One of the ways I show people I love them is I like to give things. I like to remember little details about them like their favorite candy or when they have a hard day they love to snack on gummy bears and watch netflix. Once I log these things in my brain I enjoy surprising people randomly with a small gift just to say "Hey, I love you".
